12. Great Stupa at Sanchi
Built in the third century, the Great Stupat at Sanchi is India’s oldest stone structure. It was commissioned originally by Ashoka the Great. Expansion was done one century later and the simple brick dome was doubled in size. The top part of the dome was flattened and crowned with three parasols placed inside a square railing.
11. Eden Project
The Eden Project in Cornwall is the largest greenhouse in the world and it was opened in 2001 to the public. The structure is made up of two enclosures with adjoining domes. Both domes provide housing for plant species from all over the world.
