This stunning 17th-century Spanish fortress was awarded UNESCO World Heritage status and is an important part of Cuban history.
Originally used as a fortress, then a prison, Castillo del Morro is perched high on top of a cliff, guarding the entrance to Havana. You can enjoy impressive views over the bay when visiting this site, as well as learning more about the country’s unique history.
