5 Best Countries for Solo Travellers

New Zealand

If you haven’t been here, you must have dreamed about it once, or at least every time you watched some installment of the Lord of the rings trilogy. It’s no wonder they have selected this patch of Earth to shoot their most amazing landscape scenes.

Thrill-seekers could revel in jet boating, bungee jumping and hiking activities. Roam the stunning volcanic park and learn about the indigenous Maori culture. The people of this country are kind and open-minded, a major point for solo raiders.

  1. Amazing place,i like it

  2. I love to travel ,mainly sightseeing

  3. I love the photos! Austria is at the top of my bucket list for my next trip to Europe. I’ve been nearby in Poland and Hungary, and enjoyed the culture and people in both.

  4. wow scenery is extraordinary.
This scenery is similar as in new
    zealand. I really liked it.

  5. Oh yes, Costa Rica is perfect for a single trip! And Austria aswell – such a relaxed lifestyle.

  6. I’d like to wholeheartedly recommend Nepal as a great solo destination. Even women are safe here. I asked a policeman how bad violent crime is for tourists and he thought for a minute and said, “I’ve only been working here for 6 months so I can’t say.” Not one incident of a violent crime against a tourist in the rather large city, Bhaktapur, in over 6 months. And I know that many tourists do things that could be considered just asking for it, but the Nepali are really kind, hospitable, generous and loving. I don’t see how they can be so kind sometimes.

I’ve lived here in Nepal for almost 7 years and I have never felt so safe. I’m a retired woman from the US. Great medical care for practically nothing, too.
